Charlize Theron says her dogs are helping her raise baby Jackson

Charlize Theron says that she isn't a single parent to adopted baby Jackson -- the "Snow White and the Huntsman" actress says that her two dogs are helping her raise her son.

It was the most beautiful thing I think Ive ever witnessed. From the moment this baby came into our home, those two dogs have never been more in love, Theron told Ellen DeGeneres today. "People keep saying, Oh youre a single mom, and Im like, Actually, Im not. I got two boys helping me out. Its incredible.

Theron looked glamorous on "Ellen" today with her blonde hair straightened and a coat of red lipstick. And the actress seemed obsessive about her dogs -- Berkley, a terrier, and Blue, a pit bull -- who she calls her "boys."

The pit woke up with me for every feed, for every change, and whenever the baby would cry the pit would start crying, said Theron. Hell do anything for that baby.

However, her terrier isn't as helpful.

"Berkley, he's actually the pacifier thief, continued Theron. He'll just lay there with the [baby's] pacifier in his mouth."

On a more serious note, Theron talked in more detail than she has thus far about the process of adoption, getting emotional as she spoke. She revealed that Jackson is American and that she adopted him at just nine-days-old

"The process took a while, around two years," said Theron. "My mom said the most beautiful thing. Wait, I'm going to cry. [She said], 'It took me nine months to fall in love with you while you were growing in my stomach. It took you two years to fall in love with this little baby.' It really took two years of just waiting and then one day it's finally there. I don't know how to describe it. It just feels right."
