Charlize Theron and Jillian Michaels Talk About Being First-Time Moms
and are glowing with happiness. The former has brought home an adopted baby boy named Jackson, while the latter has adopted a 2-year-old girl from Haiti and welcomed a baby boy whom her partner Heidi Rhoades just gave birth to. Sharing their joy to the world, the two talked about being new moms and how the babies changed their lives.
Charlize spilled that she censors herself and restrains from cursing when she's around her kid. "A lot of people have sent me these children's books, and there's this amazing book, a best-seller [called] 'Go the F**k to Sleep'," she revealed in a press junket of her new movie "".
"This book was fantastic for me because it made me realize that I don't need to judge myself right now," the Queen Ravenna depicter continued to share her thoughts. "The whole book is just basically, 'Please, go the f**k to sleep.' [Jackson] doesn't understand anything right now, and so he just wants my face to look a certain way."
Jillian is also thrilled to have two new additions to her family, so she said in a separate interview. If there's one thing that the former! trainer of "" regrets, it was her "not being able to share the inception, pregnancy process, and birth of" her son. She additionally talked about the long and arduous adoption process she has gone through to bring home baby Lukensia.
In another chat with PEOPLE, the "" host recalled how she could only watch while her partner Heidi had to endure the pain of giving birth to baby Phoenix. "The whole thing about Phoenix being born was hard," she said. "Watching her (Heidi) was awful. You can't relieve the person. You can't do it for them. You just have to stand there and watch."
Heidi initially wanted to go through a natural childbirth, but after 27 hours of labor, doctors said she would have to deliver the baby via cesarean section. Once the baby was born, Jillian sprang into action to take care of the newborn. "Because I had the c-section, she had to jump in and do everything with Phoenix," Heidi gushed. "She's an amazing mom."
