Charlize Theron talks motherhood, Kristen Stewart with Seacrest
Charlize Theron has long been a fashion plate, but her favorite look these days? Swaddling clothes for the new baby.
The Oscar winner called in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show Friday morning to discuss the whirlwind week she's had thanks to the announcement of her adopting a 4-month-old little guy named Jackson.
"Its been amazing, the amount of emails and congratulations," she said. "Everyones just been so lovely, so its been really nice."
This is the first child for single Theron, who has several films slated for premiere in the coming months. In addition to acting, she's got a charitable foundation helping African youth avoid HIV/AIDS and is the face of Dior fragrance J'Adore.
"I didnt think I would be a fan of the swaddling, but the swaddling is pretty amazing. It looks a bit like a straitjacket ... but for some reason they just love it," she said of the practice in which an infant is wrapped tightly in a blanket. Some say the practice helps babies fall asleep -- and stay that way.
While she's a nurturing mom at home, come May we'll see Charlize as the Evil Queen in "Snow White and the Huntsman." For her thoughts on working with "Twilight Saga" star Kristen Stewart, check out her full Seacrest interview, below.
