Charlize Theron Reveals That Motherhood Is Amazing

Charlize Theron has revealed that it is 'amazing' to be a mother. Charlize Theron opened up for the first time about motherhood when speaking to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show.

Theron had recently adopted her son Jackson and she only revealed the news on Wednesday (14 Mar 2012). When speaking to Seacrest yesterday, she stated: 'It's been amazing, the amount of emails and congratulations. Everyone's just been so lovely, so it's been really nice.' She further elaborated that she is using various methods to get used to motherhood: 'I didn't think I would be a fan of the swaddling. But the swaddling is pretty amazing. It looks a bit like a strait jacket, but for some reason they just love it.' This is the first child for the 34-year-old Oscar Winner, with a close source telling US Weekly that the four-month-old baby was born in the US. Theron is currently single after breaking up with nine-year boyfriend Stuart Townsend in 2010. But a source revealed to People Magazine that she won't be raising the baby alone: 'Charlize's mom [Gerda] has been helping out with the baby. She seems so happy and will be a great mom.'

Charlize Theron will next be seen as the evil queen alongside Kristen Stewart in 'Snow White and the Huntsman' which hits cinemas across the UK on June 1st (2012).
