The stunning 37-year-old South African actress and mother to adopted son Jackson is committed to charity.
The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project is dear to her heart and she invests a lot of time in it.
Charlize has worked with Blake Mycoskie, founder of popular shoe brand TOMS, for many years on philanthropic projects.
She has collaborated with TOMS most recently by designing shoes that will benefit the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project.
Charlize and Blake are devoted to aiding impoverished people around the world.
"We'll both do anything we can to help kids, Charlize told Us Weekly.
The star regards the nonprofit as her passion.
The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project uses the funds it generates to provide education and medical resources to people suffering from HIV/AIDS in remote regions on the continent.
Charlize recognises that her and her teams efforts are making a huge positive impact.
"It's incredible to see real change!" she gushed.
