Actress Charlize Theron is one of the most beautiful women in the world, and not only that, but she seems down to earth and likable too. The South African born Theron is single, and she says it's the first time she's been unattached since she was 19 years old. At 36, she is now enjoying her time alone.

Theron said she used to go from one relationship to another, preferring the comfort of a monogamous relationship. She spent nearly a decade dating actor Stuart Townsend, and the pair split just last year. The former fashion model is currently working on the 2012 film, "Snow White and the Huntsman," in which she'll play the Evil Queen, Ravenna.

Though the Academy Award-winning star should probably revel in her singlehood for awhile, who do you think she should date when she's ready? I think she needs someone who is not only hot and charismatic, but intelligent and kind, much like herself.

Gerard Butler migh be my number one pick for Theron. The Scottish actor has a voice that would make most any woman melt, and at 42, he's definitely within her age range. Cosmopolitan magazine named him one of the hottest single male celebs, and he reportedly is interested in more than just a pretty face. They say he says he's a "real sucker" for sweetness and a good heart." Perhaps Theron is the one Butler needs to tame his wild ways. If not, it might be fun just to try.

Alex O'L! oughlin< /a> is a 35-year-old Australian born actor who currently stars in the television series, "Hawaii Five-0." O'Loughlin is of Scottish and Irish descent, and is both multi-talented and single. He is said to have split with his longtime girlfriend and actress, Holly Valance, in 2009.

The 6'1" actor with dreamy green-blue eyes has a number of passions, including surfing and mountain climbing, and he even plays guitar and cooks. Theron might change her mind pretty quickly about being single if she runs into O'Loughlin any time soon.

If the beautiful actress would like to date someone from her home country, Sharlto Copley would fit the bill. The actor and producer turns 38 on November 27, and is best known for his role as Wikus van der Merwe in the Oscar nominated film, "District 9"

Copley seems both brilliant and down to earth, as well as quite attractive, and definitely a good choice for Theron to bring home to mom.
