Charlize Theron ‘avoids Diaz meeting’

Charlize Theron reportedly fled from a hair salon recently when fellow actress Cameron Diaz arrived.

The South African star was having her tresses tended to at the Byron & Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills on October 27, when she had a strange reaction to the Bad Teacher star entering the establishment.

A witness told Star magazine that Charlize appeared “pretty panicked” when Alex Rodriguez’s ex-girlfriend walked in.

“It sure seemed like Charlize was trying to not see or interact with Cameron,” the source said. “Charlize got flustered and told her hairstylist to wrap up quickly and to forget about blow-drying her hair.”

The Oscar-winner then took off her smock and left the salon with her hair still wet. It has been suggested her hasty departure was an attempt to avoid coming face-to-face with Cameron.

“It was weird for Charlize to act that way,” the source added. “It makes you wonder if they’ve had some sort of fight over a man.”

Cameron, 39, was apparently unfazed by Charlize’s behaviour.

“She was really nice and friendly,” the insider added about the Bad Teacher star. “She was giving another customer beauty tips.”
