Charlize Theron as Snow White's Wicked Queen Channels 'The Shining'

Instead, Stewart will be facing off against Charlize Theron in the dark and gritty adaptation of the classic Snow White fairy tale.

In Snow White and the Huntsman, Stewart plays the titular Disney princess, while Theron channels her dark side to play the Evil Queen. Thor's Chris Hemsworth serves as the Huntsman charged with killing Snow White, but eventually falls to her beauty and charms and becomes her protector.

While the source material is the same, there's no Disney sweetness in this latest interpretation. Theron's wicked and vain queen is consumed with beauty, and sucks the life out of her pretty rivals to stay young. "There was definitely something about the character that always reminded me of Jack Nicholson in The Shining," said the actress.Snow White with a touch of The Shi ning? We're in! Although if we were the mirror on the wall charged with finding the fairest of them all, we're gonna have to give the edge to Theron over Stewart. Sorry, Twilight fans.
