'Dark Places': Chloe Moretz in talks to join Charlize Theron
Chloe Moretz has entered talks for Dark Places.
She will join Charlize Theron in the thriller based on Gillian Flynn's mystery novel, reports Deadline.
Theron will star as Libby Day, who at the age of seven testified that her 15-year-old brother Ben had murdered the rest of their family.
When a group called the Kill Club attempt to prove his innocence, the struggling woman agrees to help them - purely out of self-interest - but begins to discover that things are not quite as she believed.
Moretz will play a character called Diondra.
She will next be seen in Kick-Ass 2 and Kimberly Peirce's remake of Carrie.
Dark Places will be directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner.
