Sandra Bullock takes her son Louis to a party at fellow actress Charlize Theron and her little boy Jackson's house

Sandra Bullock's little boy covered a lot of ground getting to Charlize Theron's house.

Tottering along and clasping his yellow toy truck, Sandra's three-year-old tot Louis was the picture of cuteness.

Sandra stepped out on Sunday with Louis in tow to attend a party at pal Charlize's home in posh Beverly Hills.

Holding a prettily wrapped gift bag in one hand, Sandra held on tight to Louis's hand as they trotted down the sidewalk towards the Prometheus star's property.

Louis tried really hard to keep up with his mum and he was doing a good job too.

It looked like Louis had some fun playtime in store with Charlize's toddler son Jackson, whom she adopted from her native South Africa last year.

Louis was dressed sporty for the occasion too, wearing blue jeans, navy long-sleeved top with checkerboard design and mini trainers.

Sandra was swathed in a flowing black maxi dress and a black tie-dye cardigan, and concealed eyes behind large-frame sunglasses.

The 48-year-old star seemed happy to see Chelsea Handler, who was also a guest.

The two ladies had a ball catching up in front of Charlize's gated home.

Sandra is enjoying some much-deserved down time, having completed two f! ilms back! to back including the sci-fi thriller Gravity opposite George Clooney and the action comedy The Heat co-starring Melissa McCarthy.

The Blind Side star, who totes her son with her on movie locations, will next provide her voice to the animated family comedy Minions.

Still, Sandra's No. 1 priority remains as always her son.

'No one understands the shift in priorities about having a child in your life... until you have a child in your life,' Sandra told TODAY in 2010 just a few months after adopting Louis as a single mother.

'It naturally shifts... he showed up and now, Louie's got the stage.'
