Charlize Theron was presented with an award for her humanitarian work today during the Crystal Award Ceremony at the World Economic Forum. The event, held at the Swiss resort of Davos, honored Charlize for her efforts in the fight to eradicate AIDS. The passionate 37-year-old actress donned a figure-flattering turquoise dress, black pumps, and her slightly grown-out pixie cut as she stepped up to the podium. After receiving her statuette from the wife of the organization's chairman, Hilde Schwab, she addressed the audience and joked that she was "getting smarter by osmosis."

Charlize's trip to Switzerland is her latest stop during a busy few months of travel. Charlize and her son, Jackson, vacationed in the South of France earlier this month after spending part of the Summer and Fall in her n! ative South Africa, where she filmed Mad Max: Fury Road. The actress's charitable work continues even on the homefront Charlize helped a friend move during the short time she was back in LA last week.
